Simple Living in 2023

These are the top healthy nutrient dense food items you should be eating.

These are the supplements you should take if you are not eating the foods listed above.

This is what you need to have the perfect aesthetic, Valentine's Day, home, garden, Wednesday...

Next time you go to the store buy this.

If you want to avoid going to the store buy that.

This is the current fashion trend this minute is capsule wardrobes.

That fashion trend is so last minute now you need to get on board with slow fashion.

Hanging out on social media is a wild place. Second by second we are told what we need now, next, and later to be happy, healthy, this or that. It is unrelenting across all demographics and spaces. Even simple living is not safe from consumerism. Simple living went from minimizing the noise and creating a fulfilling life to finding the next thing that brings us closer to the simple life of our dreams. The funny thing is it is a moving goal post.

I think the thing that we need to remember in all of this 'noise' is what draws us to this way of life. We want to live in the moment with our families. We don't need an aesthetic set of cleaning supplies to make this happen, the ones we currently own clean just fine. Buying 35 varieties of strange plants for our gardens or $75 worth of seeds we've never grown doesn't mean we are better at gardening or food saving. Especially if the seeds don't do well in the planting zone, or you don't have time to preserve or put up all the food, or even worse flat out don't like the things you've grown. I am a firm believer that overwhelm can end more simple life dreams than uncertainty.

Go at your own pace. Do what you love. Learn as you go. Be you in a world that tells you how to be like everyone else. That is when the real peace of simplicity can be felt.
