Woohoo we are moving right along! We have gathered all items that need to be packed for our trip. The dining room table is over flowing with all of these items and now it is time for the fun part, getting it all out to the camper. We have to travel with everything in stored position so that the items do not get tossed about during travel. I like to keep most items in baskets for the road and then we have to unpack it all once we get to our site and set it up. There are somethings that are stored in the camper and do not come out. Some of these items are broom, trash bags, newspaper, tools, storage bins, camper toilet paper, soap, dish soap, dishes and pots, foil, cutting boards, silverware, cooking utensils. Most of our food prep and storage supplies are items that we picked up at yard sales. I didn’t like the idea of using plastic items and paper products ever trip so I stocked up on real silver ware ($1 for setting for 8). Plastic plates that the kids no longer used once we transitioned them to our ceramic plates at home are what we eat off of while we camp. I picked up some cups at Walmart for $0.97 each. We also have a lot of can cooizies and cups from weddings that we have attended, these are fun reminders of the events.
